β-Alanine (3-aminopropanoic acid) is a non-essential amino acid synthesized in the liver, which can be ingested through the diet (mainly from animal sources) or through supplements (Dominguez, Lougedo, Muñoz, & Castaño, 2015). β-Alanine binds to the essential amino acid L-Histidine, through a reaction catalyzed by carnosine synthetase, forming a dipeptide called carnosine (figure 1), a molecule that plays a very important role during physical exercise, particularly in those sports practices. that can generate some level of lactic acidosis (eg, CrossFit, soccer, tennis, basketball, bodybuilding and fitness, among others). Contains 90 capsules Ingredients: β-Alanine, Gelatin (Empty Capsule), Bulking Agent (Microcrystalline Cellulose), Anti-caking Agents [Magnesium Salt of Fatty Acid (Magnesium Stearate) and Silicon Dioxide] and Color [Titanium Dioxide (Empty Capsule)]. Recommended daily dose : 2 capsules (3000mg) a day with water, 1 capsules before training and 1 capsules after training.
